You've got the leadership. What's the worst that could happen?

Quite a lot, actually.

Join us every Friday to practice the worst-case scenarios before they happen. Facilitation Fight Lab (for group situations) alternates weeks with Fight Labs (for 1:1 situations).

You can sign up for either event, and as many as you want. Sessions are FREE, every other Friday at 12 pm Central.

What happens at Fight Lab?

Why we do it:

Most of our work, family, and social lives are spent minimizing and avoiding disputes, fights, and collisions in their many forms. We don’t talk enough about how to harness that intensity for mutual benefit.

Fight Lab was born of a need to practice conflicts before they happen, or re-play them to understand what we could do differently. We need spaces to hone the many tools we have for inviting, leveraging, and negotiating dissonance. Here, we can workshop conflicts while remaining on the “same team”.

What to expect:

In Fight Lab, we simulate difficult conversations and work through them together. Bring an interaction that you have struggled with, or are anticipating struggling with, and we’ll choose one to work with in the group.

What to prepare:

For Fight Labs, bring a difficult scenario that occurs or has occurred with 1-2 other people. Think conflicts with your partner, family, co-workers, or neighbors.

For Facilitation Fight Labs, we want situations that have occurred (or that you fear occurring) in groups that you lead. Think overtalkers, challenges to your leadership, social justice concerns, etc.

You do not have to bring a scenario in order to participate. Witnessing or playing a part in someone else's scene is always fine!

Upcoming Events

Remember, the first rule of Fight Lab is: We talk about Fight Lab. So, invite your friends, family, and facilitator colleagues to join us. Don’t let your fears hold you back from facilitating phenomenal groups.
